  • Create a Burner Profile;
  • Contribute to potential future forums;
  • Submit an online questionnaire, application, or other form;
  • Sign up for my newsletters or other mailing lists;
  • Post comments on potential future blog posts;

Information That is Automatically Collected by My System

I receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with me through my Site: I use a cookie to store your login ID and password and to synchronize your responses to one form with other relevant forms.

What I Do With Your Personal Information

I use the personal information that I receive to operate my Site, to aid in production of Florida regional Burning Man events, and for other Florida regional Burning Man-related projects. Your personal information may be stored on my system and shared among Florida regional Burning Man affiliates, including but not limited to Burning Man Project, Black Rock City LLC, Black Rock Arts Foundation, Burnt Oranges Inc, Afterburn, Love Burn, and Preheat. I do not rent or sell your personal information to any other entity. I do not share your personal information with any other entity, except when:

  • I have your permission;
  • I must respond to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process;
  • I must exercise my legal rights, protect my property, defend against legal claims, or otherwise comply with the law; or
  • I believe it is appropriate in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected illegal activities, fraud, threats to personal safety, or violation of the Site’s terms of use. and/or its affiliates may at times contact you at your email address to keep you informed about events and other Florida regional Burning Man-related opportunities. Should you not wish to receive such communications, you will find details about how to opt out the first time you are contacted. For technical reasons, the information that you have voluntarily shared with other users by posting messages on the public part of the Site may remain visible on the Site even after the deletion of your account.

Confidentiality and Security

The only people who have access to personal information collected on my Site, either directly or through use of Google Analytics, have a need to know this information and are bound by nondisclosure agreements and this privacy policy. I have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the personal information that I store.

However, whenever you submit expressive content to certain areas of my Site — such as potential future forums, potential Florida regional Events calendar, potential theme camp and art project listings, and newsletters — you understand that the submission will be made public on the Site. I are not responsible for the use of any personal information that you or others choose to post publicly. You may be identified as the author of any posted expressive content unless you instruct me otherwise.

I will identify your potential forum submissions by the handle you register and will not disseminate any other registration information without your authorization. However, if you contact other posters by email, your personal information may be included in the header, as with any email.
